Cosmic

A series of paintings prompted by a visual response to some of the extraordinary events that surround
us on a daily basis. They are neither illustrations nor copies of satellite images but personalised experience
as seen by an artist rather than by a scientist and with a firm belief that we are, as an inherent part of this universe - made up of the same materials - and undergo the same energetic processes.

These paintings were used in the CELEBRATING CERN event (see below): "All paintings were shown with descriptive stories as part of my engagement with the event."

CELEBRATING CERN
A three month event at Sheffield University of talks, performance and exhibitions,
bringing together researchers from differing faculties - Chemistry, Design, Litearature,
Law, Music, Neuroscience and Physics - in a series of proactive encounters.



Art for Wellbeing

These art works are about bringing positive energy into the environment and are intended for hospitals, clinics, work places, the home. They subliminally generate feelings of relaxation, peace, expansiveness or simply a refreshing emptiness.
